The Toronto Blue Jays Fall Short of 4 Game Sweep Versus Division Rival Red Sox
After a tough start to a road trip being swept in 3 by the Mets in New York the Toronto Blue Jays traveled to Boston and won a 4 game series against the division rival Red Sox.
The Blue Jays started their season hot with a 5-2 homestand but would immediately go back to .500 after being swept by the Mets in New York. So they traveled to Boston hoping for a bounce back, and they would winning 3 out of 4 at Fenway, improving their record to 8-6, but falling short of a sweep in extras today.
The first two games were great for the Blue Jays. They scored 6 runs in both games and starters José Berríos and Easton Lucas were great. Starting Pitching would be great in games 3 and 4 as well
